Go naturally splotchy this year for an Icky, Yucky, Mucky Holi!

In this week’s idea for an Icky, Yucky, Mucky Holi, we would love for you to be natural this Holi! Here’s how…

You may have local organisations that create natural colours. In addition to them a wonderful organisation called Ecoexist makes completely natural Holi colours and sells them across many cities in India. Click here for a list of where you can get your natural Rang Dulaar colours.

That’s not all! You can try making your very own colours at home for your water guns.

  • Boil a few marigold flowers in water to get  bright yellow.
  • Soak beetroot overnight in water or boil it to get deep pink coloured water.
  • Mix lemon juice with turmeric into the water for red splashes.

Get set to go naturally splotchy this year!
